Outward Bound Adventures

Give an Adventure, Have an Adventure

Back in the day, did you – or one of your kids – head off with Outward Bound on one of their unique experiential education adventures? Did you do some incredible activities that you may not have otherwise been able to do? Did you sleep under a bivvy with your friends, dreaming of all the food you’d have when the trip was finished?!

Why not provide that opportunity for a disadvantaged young person to have the kind of life-affirming experience that can only be captured on an extended Outward Bound wilderness journey.

Adventures for Outward Bound Alumni

Outward Bound Australia is working with Primal Adventures to deliver outstanding mini-adventures for Outward Bound Alumni, parents and supporters. These are people who have previously participated in an Outward Bound Program, and understand the core belief of Outward Bound as penned by it’s founder, Kurt Hahn:

We are all better than we know. If only we can be brought to realise this, we may never again settle for anything less.

Outward Bound Adventures

We have curated a number of incredible adventures over the upcoming 12 months for you to choose from. These vary in intensity and duration – from 3 days in the Wolgan Valley, through a 4 day family adventure in Tasmania to a 4 day sea kayaking island hopping extravaganza in North Queensland. These are all for small groups of 10 or fewer.

Reconnect with old friends or connect with new ones, and join us for an unforgettable adventure.

Each participant is expected to fundraise towards a place for a disadvantaged young person on an Outward Bound Navigator Program. See here for details of fundraising.
